Silver Mountain Bike Park has been voted the #1 bike park in the Northwest four years running. Silver Mountain Bike Park offers a wide variety of trails for everyone. With North America's longest gondola we have quick and easy access to Idaho's best lift served bike trails. Almost 40 single track trails, most of which are gravity oriented, ensure that you will find one to fit your riding style. We have a new fleet of downhill and trail bikes along with all the helmets and armor you need to push your skills with confidence.
Our Chair 3 Zone offers 800 vertical feet of elevation drop for a less committing experience and gives new riders a chance to ease into the lifestyle with shorter pieces of trail from wide double-track and mellow single-track to full-on expert level downhill trails and jump lines. For our expert level riders it allows quick access to trails like Hammer, Log Jammin and Hot Mess for quick laps.
For the experienced rider we recommend continuing beyond the Chair 3 Zone to the Lower Mountain and the entire 3,400 vertical feet of descent. The fastest riders on the most direct route can reach the bottom in about 15 minutes while the average rider on our blue trails will take closer to 45 minutes. These trails include super flowy single track, rough, technical fall-line trails and machine built, hand tuned jump lines.
Whether you want to try out lift served biking for the first time or you're trying to perfect your whips we have the trails and the elevation you're looking for. Our gondola takes you directly from town (located on I-90) to the top of the park in just 20 minutes without any mountain driving. Ride & Dine tickets are available on Fridays between June 28 and August 30 and include your lift ticket along with a great mountain top BBQ dinner and live music. We are open until 8 p.m. on Fridays so there is plenty of time to fill up on huckleberry ribs before setting off for the last lap of the night.
At the base of Silver Mountain is the Gondola Village, located just minutes from I-90 and local shopping. Stay at the Morning Star Lodge right in the village which boasts secure bike storage rooms (bring your own lock), bike wash stations and access to Idaho’s Largest Indoor Waterpark. Once you arrive, everything you need is located right here with lodging, dining, bars, bike rentals and much more just a few steps from the gondola. Staying at the Morning Star lodge? After riding you can peel off your knee pads and hit the surfing wave or enjoy a beverage while you soak in the hot tubs, watch TV and plan your next day of riding.
